How to Submit Winning Entries
The following steps serve as a guide to help you navigate your Galen entry and submit entries that will be noticed by the Judges:
1. Subscribe to the Free Galen Awards Email Newsletter (coming soon)
The quarterly email newsletter will help you stay informed about entry deadline extensions, new categories, and other announcements from the organizers of The Galen Awards. With a very strict privacy policy, you can be assured that we will not share your email address with anyone else for any reason.
2. Request an Entry Kit

3. Determine Which Categories are Appropriate for the Individuals and Companies you Wish to Nominate
Decide which individuals, groups, or media (web sites, campaigns, etc.) within your organization that you will nominate/enter, then select the most appropriate categories for those entries. Contact the Galen Awards office with any questions regarding the most appropriate categories. You may register here if you have not already done so. Feel free to contact us at info@galenawards.com if you need any assistance.
4. Involve Your Executives and Clients
These awards are the most complete recognition program in the industry. So nominate your company executives and your most important clients. You will be able to share and celebrate the success together at the awards gala dinner.
5. Prepare Your Entries
Judges are not looking for out-of-this-world achievements. In fact start-ups and large established companies have an equal chance of getting the judges attention if your story is well written, brief, to the point and highlights achievements clearly. So prepare draft copies of your content before submission, review and then submit. Sometime a nomination may be suitable for more than one category, which increases the chances of becoming a finalist and winner.
6. Submit Your Entries By The Entry Deadline
It is important that you submit your entries by the deadlines. Early-bird deadlines will enable you to file your nominations at discounted fees. Even though we will accept late-entries as per the timelines of this awards program, late and higher fees will be applicable. Late entries are not penalized.
7. Volunteer To Be a Judge
As a judge you will be able to see the entries submitted by many companies around the country, and you will develop a better sense of the types of entries that judges score highly. Judges are not allowed to judge entries in categories in which you have submitted entries. Click here to apply to become a judge.
If your application is accepted you will be assigned categories based on your experience. As a preliminary-round judge you will be able to judge as few or as many nominations as you like, at your convenience, over the Internet.
